System JO Wild Clitoral Gel ~ Review

I have never tried a clitoral gel before this one, but I like trying new things - it can prove to be a lot of fun! I wouldn't describe myself as someone who needs extra stimulation but I won't turn it down either! I received the Wild formula to review, but if you are sensitive you might want to try out the Light or Mild.

System JO Wild Clitoral Gel comes in a black and red box which includes the directions and warnings in 4 different languages along with the ingredients on the back. It also lets you know that the gel is safe to use with condoms, that it contains no L-Arginine, and that the 10cc tube is good for up to 50 uses. The clear tube inside is sealed and needs to be snipped open before you can get anything out and has a replaceable cap so that it does not get spilled when you aren't using it. It is called a gel, and I will continue to call it a gel - but it isn't thick like a gel and is pretty runny if you let it.

The tube is small, but with how little you need to use each time it should last a while. The gel has a nice minty smell, and a barely noticeable mint taste to it. It should be noted that it is silicone based, so you should be careful and use a condom if you would like to use this with your silicone toys - although I used it with my silicone toys several times before realizing this fact, and they did not get damaged by it.

My experience with this gel was a little mixed. I tried it out over several days with my toys, and I also tried it out with my husband when he was here. I was a little disappointed that each time I tried it, I did not notice any effects other than the initial cool feeling it gives on application, though the duration of my orgasms seemed to be slightly longer. I decided to try it one more time before writing my review, but after rubbing it into my clit I got distracted due to a lost toy and didn't end up playing any farther. Without any other stimulation was when I really noticed the full effects of the gel.

The cool feeling slowly turned into a warm tingle, and after not too long it left me feeling very turned on. It lasted for around an hour and slowly tapered down. I'm not sure if it wasn't working for me with other play because the tingling was just too subtle with stronger stimulation's, or if I was rubbing it off somehow but this was my experience. I will likely be using it from now on when I am not able to play just yet, but want to have arousing sensations that keep me wanting more. The sensations faded completely when I tried wiping it off before the hour was up, which could be handy if you have uninvited guests show up at your door shortly after applying the gel.

After the hour, the gel had basically absorbed into my skin. Clean up was a simple wipe with a washcloth or towel so I'm sure whatever method you use to clean up after play time would work just fine. It isn't greasy at all, and actually left my fingers feeling pretty soft after rubbing it in. System Jo Clitoral Gel is available in 4 strengths - Light, Mild, Wild, and Atomic. I wouldn't mind giving the Atomic a try to see if I have better results during play!

In case you have any allergies, or if you just want to know - this is the ingredients as listed on the tube: Polydimethylsiloxane, Decamethylcyclopentasiloxane, Octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane, Dimethylsiloxane hydroxyl-terminated, Peppermint, Oleoresins capsicum.
