Tantus Flirt ~ Review

This was the first anal toy I bought, and if I was to go back and rethink it - I would definitely buy it again. Mine is blue, and I don't think blue is available anymore - but you can get your own from this sex toy store in black or raspberry. There are smaller toys available, including the Little Flirt but if you are looking for a toy that will last through your first attempt at anal that you will continue using as you get more experienced then the Tantus Flirt would be an excellent choice.

This toy was originally called the big Flirt, but is not big enough to be intimidating. While it may be lacking in fancy ridges, curves, ripples, or vibrations this is not one to be overlooked. With it's basic shape, and plenty of lube this is a great toy for stretching out your anal muscles while preparing for a larger toy or penis...or simply to use during foreplay or oral sex.

With Flirt measuring 1 3/8" at it's widest with a 4 1/2" insertable length (5 1/2" total), it is a little big for a true beginner to fully insert in my opinion. Over the years I have had a lot of fun with only inserting the Flirt part way, since the tip starts very small (finger sized) and has a slightly smaller neck before the nice and gradual width increase. I have also enjoyed pushing it in until it starts to stretch ever so gently and then thrust with it this way going deeper each time until it comfortably works it's way into my anus. Even though I can fully insert it pretty easily using this method now, I still find the length to be too much to keep inside comfortably for very long so I use this toy for thrusting more often than as a plug. My preference may be for the better - The neck at the base has a 1" diameter and when I have tried using it as a plug it tends to want to pop out without a hand or a tight pair of panties holding it in...and during orgasm? Not a chance at this toy staying in place.

The rounded base can be uncomfortable between your butt cheeks but it ensures that it will not get sucked into your rectum, and also makes the Flirt harness compatible. I have never tried it with a harness personally, since I don't yet own one so I can't comment on how well it will work that way but I can say that vibrations travel though the silicone wonderfully while holding a bullet or other vibrator on the base.

Flirt is made from high quality 100% premium silicone. As always, silicone is hypo-allergenic, non-porous, phthalate and latex free as well as tasteless and odorless. Extremely easy to clean with anti-bacterial soap & water or sex toy cleaner, and equally easy to sterilize by boiling, bleaching (10% solution) or by running though the dishwasher on the top rack. You can only use water based lubricants with flirt, but the pliable, seamless, glossy surface makes insertion easy without any drag regardless of which brand of lube I have tried using.
