Evolved Serenity ~ Review

Serenity is one of the many vibrators in the True Love collection from Evolved Novelties. The toys in this collection are made with an opaque TPR and are 8 3/4" long & 1 3/4 wide, though the design of each one is significantly different. This one is available in purple or pink and has raised swirls along the surface which slowly add to the girth as you go deeper. Serenity is a dual stimulating vibe with two motors, one intended to target your clitoris, and a larger one near the curved tip for your G-Spot. The clitoral stimulator is about 2" long and just under an inch wide. One of the things that I love the most about these vibrators, is that they are extremely flexible -much like jelly- yet still body safe.

The packaging is an excellent storage/travel tin with purple, black & blue accents and a clear acrylic lid. With the moulded plastic insert, the tin is the perfect place to store your toy but can also be used to store whatever else you like if you choose to keep your toy elsewhere. The tin is 10" long, 2.5" deep and 4.5" wide. It also comes with an one year warranty against defects.

You will need two double A batteries to get Serenity going and once you have done that you will find that it has 3 speeds. Both motors are controlled by a single button on the plastic base, press it 1-3 times to turn it on to the speed you like and enjoy a blissful ride with the powerful and surprisingly quiet vibrations. Make sure to be careful not to press the button a 4th time during play, as this will shut it off! The bullet in the shaft is larger, and also much more powerful than the one in the clit stimulator. The deep vibrations from the larger bullet can be felt through the entire toy very nicely, and the smaller bullet is gentle on your clitoris. If you accidentally turn it on while putting it in or taking it out of it's box then it IS loud...which I did both of these, multiple times. Removing the batteries while storing might be a good idea.

The shaft starts at around 1" wide and tapers off to the full 1 3/4" which gives a wonderfully full feeling. I found it best to thrust with only partially inserting the shaft, with the occasional deep thrust tossed in. The reason I did this is that fully inserted, the clitoral stimulator didn't hit me in quite the right spot though I very much enjoyed the full feeling and G-Spot pressure I was able to get (When fully inserted). I tried to figure out a few different positions or ways to hold Serenity, hoping to find the perfect way to feel the girth & clit vibrations together but have not mastered it just yet.

TPR is hypoallergenic, phthalate & latex free but unfortunately cannot be sterilized and it is slightly porous so you may want to avoid sharing this toy. You can use a condom on the shaft if you choose and it is safe to use both silicone & water based lubricants with this material. Clean after use with soap & water or sex toy cleaner, and always make sure the battery compartment is closed tightly to ensure it retains it's waterproof seal. Hair & lint do stick to this toy, so if you don't store in the tin or some other lint free area you might need to rinse it off before each use as well.

Short & Sweet Spice by Evolved Novelties

I prefer bigger toys for the most part but I find that smaller toys work better for me while sitting up. Especially if i want to treat myself to a quickie in the only room where I can lock myself in, or give my husband a show with the webcam! I have a couple other smaller toys, but the length wasn't the only thing that appealed to me when I saw Spice.

Spice is part of the Short & Sweet collection by Evolved Novelties. There are currently only two toys available in this collection - Sugar & Spice. While both waterproof vibes measure in at 6.75" long with a width of 1.5" and are made with phthalate & latex free,hypoallergenic and extremely smooth opaque TPR - they each have their unique qualities as well.

The three pronged clitoral stimulator on Spice is what really caught my attention when it came to deciding between the two. Sugar is also a dual stimulating vibe, but with a different design. The clitoral stimulator is 3" long and is soft enough that it does not painfully jab into your clitoris while thrusting. The 4" shaft is 1" wide at the tip, and bulges out in the center to the full 1.5" before tapering back to 1" near the base.

All toys from Evolved come with a one year warranty against defects and amazing packaging. Spice comes in their signature tin with a clear acrylic lid and pink accents that is excellent for keeping your toy safe and clean, though if you don't have a lot of space to store your toys you may start running out of room if you love Evolved Novelties as much as I do! Spice's carrying case is 9" long, 3" wide and 2 3/4 deep so it is a little smaller than the other cases, Short & Sweet just like the toy inside.

Spice takes two triple A batteries and is powered by a single button located at the bottom of the toy. There are 3 speeds of constant vibration with two motors - one near the tip of the shaft and one in the clitoral stimulator. It is very quiet, and moderately strong - personally I prefer the highest setting, but the lowest is still decent. Each bullet is about 1 1/2 inches long.

A smaller toy also means a smaller handle, and due to the way that I like to hold my toys it was a little tough figuring out how to hold it without accidently pressing the button. Even when I did get a good grip, I would forget during play and move my hand back to a more natural position and have pressed that button just about every time I used this toy. Obviously this can be very frustrating, especially when it is turned off due to pressing the button when the toy is already on the highest setting!

Despite the annoyance of the controls, Spice seems to be the perfect size for me to use while sitting down and the positive points outweigh that one negative. With the shaft inserted, the middle prong rests directly on my clit while the two outside prongs surround it. The vibrations travel really well into the prongs and feel wonderful, yet at the same time are too subtle to bring me to orgasm on their own. Thankfully the TPR is very, very flexible and even though this vibe does not have a curve for G-Spot stimulation it is possible if you hold it right and use your pc muscles to your benefit.

Another nice trick I had fun with while playing with Spice, was that if I put it into place while standing I could keep it there by pressing my legs together. (I have big legs, so you skinny legged gals may not be able to do this!) This was mainly reserved for hands free shower play since I have kids and can't walk around naked whenever I feel like doing so - but washing your hair while hands free masturbating = multi-tasking for the time deprived!

Spice is easy to clean using soap & water or sex toy cleaner, as long as the battery compartment is closed tightly it is completely waterproof and can safely be submerged. Keep in mind that TPR is slightly porous and cannot be sterilized so I would not recommend sharing your new toy with someone you are not fluid bonded with. Using a condom on the shaft is possible, but the clitoral stimulator would still be left exposed and could potentially spread germs if shared between partners. You can use either water or silicone based lubricants, I tried both System Jo's H2O and Silicone formulas and preferred the H2O but the silicone was great for using in the shower.

Overall, I really like this little toy. It gets the job done, and it does it quickly - Sugar is still on my wishlist, just because I like to change things up but I can see Spice as being my go-to-quickie vibe for a while! This would be a great choice for anyone looking for a rabbit style vibrator that does not have an intimidating size or complicated controls. I chose purple, but both Sugar & Spice are also available in pink.

My new favorite vibe ~ Evolved Croupier

When I saw Croupier, I knew I had to try it! I still love my first G-Spot vibe but what girl doesn't like to have a variety? When I requested it for review, I wasn't sure if I would get it. It took a few days before I got a reply, so I was pretty excited to find out that I could! I went through the checkout and ordered a few other goodies and then tried to contain my excitement while I waited for the mail. It arrived quickly and very discreetly as usual.

Evolved Novelties toys come packaged in a beautiful airtight storage/display case that closes with a clasp on each end. The cases for the Roulette line are made of a clear hard and decorated plastic. When I opened the case, it seemed to have a strong plastic smell. I was a bit taken aback since silicone is usually odorless, but after leaving the vibe in my drawer for a few days (and not in it's plastic box) the smell was completely gone. I'm pretty sure that the smell was the box itself and not the vibrator.

Croupier is 8" long with about 5 inches of that being insertable and a diameter of 1 3/4". It takes two AA batteries (not included). Unlike some other vibes I have tried, the battery compartment is very easy to open by giving it a little twist. They were even considerate enough to label the inside as to which direction to put each battery so there was no trial and error needed! The control dial is very easy to use and resembles a roulette wheel, to go with the casino theme of the roulette line of toys.

The deep vibrations this toy makes somehow feel very different than any other toy I have played with so far. I tried to think of a way to describe it, but I'm at a loss for words. To sum it up - perfect. The motor is located in the tip, and the vibrations travel throughout the entire shaft. The shaft itself is basically hollow and very flexible with a nice curve at the end and for me this toy was wonderful for both G-Spotting or using on my clitoris along with a second toy. One more thing - it's quiet! On the highest speed it does make a bit of a buzz but during use it barely makes any noise at all. I didn't try it anally, and wouldn't recommend it to be used that way either since it does not have a flared base.

Evolved made their Roulette vibes with a specially formulated silicone. Like other silicone sex toys, it is hypo-allergenic, non-porous, phthalate and latex free so it is completely body safe but that's not all. Roulette vibes are safe to use with silicone or oil based lubricant. Yes! It's true! Croupier is also completely waterproof and is a dream to use in the shower with your favorite lube, since most water based will rinse off when used in the shower. Cleaning is easily done under warm water with a mild soap or sex toy cleaner and you can wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution to sanitize if you wanted to share.

Croupier is currently my favorite toy. I was truly impressed and couldn't think of a single negative thing to say about it, other than its name... because I can't figure out how to say Croupier out loud! Any suggestions for a new name ? Sublime, perhaps? I can hardly wait to try out another toy from Evolved!
