When I noticed the collection of Death by Orgasm toys on Good Vibration's site I initially wanted the Vampire, but when I saw the Scorpion I forgot my love for all things Vampire and asked for one right away. I'm a Scorpio. I love Halloween and all sorts of other strange and wonderful things... how could I resist?
Not only does the Scorpion come with a fantastic 10 speed waterproof bullet, but it comes with the super stretchy elastomer Scorpion shaped sleeve. With the coffin shaped tin packaging, this toy is perfect for anyone who loves dark or gothicy things!
The bullet is 2 1/4" long and about 3/4" wide and is powered by 3 watch batteries which are included. Inserting the bullet into the sleeve is a bit of a pain, but the sensations brought on by the Scorpions flickering tongue are well worth the trouble. The bullet can be put in any way you wish, but if you hold down the button for 3 seconds at any time it powers off and I found I did this less often with the button on the tail end. (I love not having to cycle through to turn it off!) The 10 speeds include 3 intensities of steady vibration along with 7 different patterns.
Now, I may just have a twisted imagination, but before using the Scorpion I was hoping I would be able to turn it on and watch it creep around powered by the vibrations on it's wiggly Scorpion legs. Unfortunately, the bullet leaves the Scorpions body rather rounded and comical in appearance... it also stops it from moving about when set down. While this vibrator won't fulfill any creepy crawling Scorpion fetishes, it is still pretty impressive for only $20.
The bullet is a PU coated non porous ABS plastic so clean up is easy with soap & water or sex toy cleaner as long as you make sure to have the battery compartment fully closed. It can be sanitized by wiping it down with alcohol or a 10% bleach solution. The sleeve is elastomer, so can be cleaned with the same method but can't be sanitized. Plastic & Elastomer are both hypoallergenic, phthalate and latex free.
I believe these were a special order for Halloween, and currently the Vampire and Scorpion are the only ones still in stock so if you would like one I would suggest buying before they are sold out if you don't want to wait until next Halloween!
I have had my eye on a few different vibrating cock rings, and since I seem to be loving the whole pirate theme I thought that it would only be fitting to check out the cock ring too. It is available in a few different colors, each with their own unique design but I chose the Pirates Black Pleasure Ring so that it would match my black Pirates Pendant. Janine's Pleasure Ring (as named on the box) has a skull on one side, soft little nubs on the other and is topped with a pirates hat. The ring has little nubs around the inside, but once stretched out they really aren't noticeable.
It is made out of super stretchy TPE which is hypoallergenic, phthalate and latex free. TPE is porous, so it can't be sterilized and shouldn't be shared with new partners. Simply saying this cock ring is super stretchy just doesn't cut it. The inside of the ring is about 1" across un-stretched, and can literally stretch big enough to go over my head. Yes, I tried. I promise you, this cock ring will fit on any mans penis, testicles, or both and it will not be too tight.
The removable, vibrating bullet is made out of PU coated plastic. It takes 3 watch batteries batteries (included) and has 5 speeds which all have a decent strength of vibration and are controlled by a single button on the end. The first and second are steady, the third and fourth pulsating, and the fifth is a buzz buzz buzzzz pattern. Each setting is very quiet and the bullet is about 2 1/2" long and 3/4" wide.
So how did it work? On my dildos, it worked great for clitoral stimulation but was better for grinding them into me while enjoying the buzz. The bullet and the area that holds it is so big, and the material is so forgiving that thrusting seemed to make it want to flop around and made it rather distracting. Even though the vibrations are strong, they were not strong enough to travel through to the dildo so I could only feel them when my clit was up against the cock ring. I ran into the same problem when I used it with my husband. The bullet is just too big to not get in the way with thrusting. If you want to just hold it in your hand and use on your clit that works pretty well too.
Not quite perfect, but still not a total dud. If you like grinding with your man or your dildos and would like to add some strong vibrations for your clit the Pirates Pleasure Ring can help you with that. If you want a vibrating cock ring that will work better for thrusting, you might want to check out another one of the many available from adultsextoys.com! Cock rings are also supposed to restrict blood flow and help keep an erection harder and last longer. We didn't find that was the case with this or any other ring we have tried so far, but the main purpose for us was the vibrations.
The bullet is splash proof, but shouldn't be submerged. I would suggest cleaning it soap and a damp cloth or toy cleaner. The ring can be cleaned under water with a mild soap or toy cleaner. Both silicone and water based lubricants will be safe to use with this toy.

Serenity is one of the many vibrators in the True Love collection from Evolved Novelties. The toys in this collection are made with an opaque TPR and are 8 3/4" long & 1 3/4 wide, though the design of each one is significantly different. This one is available in purple or pink and has raised swirls along the surface which slowly add to the girth as you go deeper. Serenity is a dual stimulating vibe with two motors, one intended to target your clitoris, and a larger one near the curved tip for your G-Spot. The clitoral stimulator is about 2" long and just under an inch wide. One of the things that I love the most about these vibrators, is that they are extremely flexible -much like jelly- yet still body safe.
The packaging is an excellent storage/travel tin with purple, black & blue accents and a clear acrylic lid. With the moulded plastic insert, the tin is the perfect place to store your toy but can also be used to store whatever else you like if you choose to keep your toy elsewhere. The tin is 10" long, 2.5" deep and 4.5" wide. It also comes with an one year warranty against defects.
You will need two double A batteries to get Serenity going and once you have done that you will find that it has 3 speeds. Both motors are controlled by a single button on the plastic base, press it 1-3 times to turn it on to the speed you like and enjoy a blissful ride with the powerful and surprisingly quiet vibrations. Make sure to be careful not to press the button a 4th time during play, as this will shut it off! The bullet in the shaft is larger, and also much more powerful than the one in the clit stimulator. The deep vibrations from the larger bullet can be felt through the entire toy very nicely, and the smaller bullet is gentle on your clitoris. If you accidentally turn it on while putting it in or taking it out of it's box then it IS loud...which I did both of these, multiple times. Removing the batteries while storing might be a good idea.
The shaft starts at around 1" wide and tapers off to the full 1 3/4" which gives a wonderfully full feeling. I found it best to thrust with only partially inserting the shaft, with the occasional deep thrust tossed in. The reason I did this is that fully inserted, the clitoral stimulator didn't hit me in quite the right spot though I very much enjoyed the full feeling and G-Spot pressure I was able to get (When fully inserted). I tried to figure out a few different positions or ways to hold Serenity, hoping to find the perfect way to feel the girth & clit vibrations together but have not mastered it just yet.
TPR is hypoallergenic, phthalate & latex free but unfortunately cannot be sterilized and it is slightly porous so you may want to avoid sharing this toy. You can use a condom on the shaft if you choose and it is safe to use both silicone & water based lubricants with this material. Clean after use with soap & water or sex toy cleaner, and always make sure the battery compartment is closed tightly to ensure it retains it's waterproof seal. Hair & lint do stick to this toy, so if you don't store in the tin or some other lint free area you might need to rinse it off before each use as well.

I was pretty excited about getting this toy in the mail for two reasons. One, I haven't been able to get a new toy in quite some time, and two I have never played with a G-Spot vibe before! That's right, the G-Swirl is my first experience with a G-Spot vibe!
I anxiously waited and finally the day came! The mailman handed me the very non descriptive box. Even the return address didn't give away what was in the box, which is a quirk I have had with some other companies.

Once you open the two flaps on the back there is also another window so if you were looking at the vibe in the store , you can see both sides of it without removing it from the box.
It also came with a sample of Good Lubrications lube, batteries , and some directions which in my opinion were a little hard to follow because they are in so many different languages. Good Lubrications Lubricant is water based, glycerin and petroleum free.
Even without batteries, it feels a little heavier and bigger that I had guessed it would be from the pictures. It is 4" long (insertable length), with tapering ridges all along the shaft and has a 1.5" diameter at the base. The silicone is very smooth, and has the perfect amount of flexibility to it.
At first I had a hard time figuring out how to open it to put the batteries in , and then I couldn't figure out the right way the batteries were meant to be. After I figured it out it really was quite simple, but I decided to make this video that shows how to do it.
The vibrations can be adjusted with a dial at the base, and range from very mind, to very wild! On the lowest setting it barely makes any noise at all, but on the highest setting the sound really picks up. The dial is very easy to use, but if you want to adjust it in the heat of the moment is it also easy to turn it the wrong way. At first I thought the highest setting would be too intense, but it was nice to start at the lowest, then slowly turn it up. By the time I got to the highest setting I wanted more, more,MORE !
I found the ridges and the slight curve of the shaft to work as a nice clitoral toy for getting warmed up with. The tip is fairly small , making it easy to insert, while the base is large enough to feel good at both the base and the G-Spot. The ridge at the base is unfortunately not quite big enough to use for clitoral stimulation while inserted.
I was able to reach my G-Spot and orgasm quickly several times while using the G-Swirl sitting up , but when I tried to use it laying down I didn't get the same effect. Not sure if this is due to the G-Spot being deeper inside while in this position , or that I was trying to do it with a partner. (Which tends to make it harder for me to reach orgasm) Once I have a chance to try G-Swirl laying down solo , I may add that info here.
The G-Swirl Vibe is safe for anal penetration , which makes it a very versatile vibrator that both men and women can enjoy...and share! Because it is made from silicone and is water resistant , it is very easy to clean simply by using soap and water.
